An 86-year-old man died after driving the wrong way into a tractor-trailer on I-64 in Virginia.

An 86-year-old man, Edmond Thomas Floyd, died after a head-on collision on Interstate 64 in Alleghany County, Virginia, on January 21 at around 12:53 a.m. Floyd, driving a Volkswagen Jetta, was not wearing a seatbelt and was traveling the wrong way when he collided with a Kenworth tractor-trailer. The truck driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was injured but later released from the hospital. The Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.
