Two fatal crashes occurred recently in Virginia. On September 2, in Henry County, 62-year-old Albert David Elliott and his passenger, 57-year-old Melissa Sue Willard, died when their Chevrolet Silverado veered off Route 58 and struck a stationary tractor-trailer. Both were wearing seatbelts. Separately, 26-year-old Michael Thomas Mason died after a crash in Bedford County on August 30, where he was ejected from a vehicle that overturned; the driver is still under investigation.
