Maharashtra secures $598B in investments, creating 14,000 jobs, during Davos forum.

During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Maharashtra signed 18 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 4.99 trillion, with the largest from JSW Group, investing Rs 3 trillion in steel, renewable energy, and infrastructure, creating 10,000 jobs. The Kalyani Group also invested Rs 5,200 crore in Gadchiroli, a less industrialized district, for defense and EV sectors, generating 4,000 jobs. These investments aim to significantly boost industrial growth and job creation in Maharashtra.
