In the first quarter of the 2024-25 financial year, Maharashtra attracted ₹70,795 crore, accounting for 52.46% of India’s total Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of ₹1,34,959 crore. This marks Maharashtra's continued dominance in FDI, surpassing the combined totals of Karnataka (₹19,059 crore), Delhi (₹10,788 crore), and Gujarat (₹8,508 crore). Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the state's pro-business policies as key to this success.
