Queensland Premier launches inquiry into child protection systems post-pedophile conviction.

Queensland Premier David Crisafulli has launched an inquiry into the state's child protection and Blue Card system following the conviction of Ashley Paul Griffith, who was jailed for life for hundreds of sex crimes against children over two decades. The investigation, led by Luke Twyford, will examine system failures, how to prevent child sexual abuse, and improve policies and procedures. The review will also assess the effectiveness of the Blue Card system in protecting children.
