NSW government encourages Sydney drivers to claim up to $140M in unclaimed toll relief.

The NSW government in Australia is urging Sydney drivers to claim $140 million in unclaimed toll relief, introduced in January 2024. The "toll cap" reimburses drivers who spend more than $60 weekly on tolls. Since launch, $75 million has been paid out through over 276,000 claims. The government aims to make tolls fairer through ongoing talks with toll road companies, including a deal with Transurban for a network-wide pricing system.
