President-elect Mahama forms interim National Security team to manage country's security.
President-elect John Mahama has formed a six-member interim National Security team to manage the country's security until permanent roles are filled. Led by former Interior Minister Prosper Douglas Ban, the team includes former military and security leaders such as Lt. General Peter Augustine Blay and Kofi Totobi Quakyi. Their mandate starts on January 7, 2025.
