A 19-year-old man was charged with assault and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after allegedly stabbing two people at a New Year's Eve party in Northland, New Zealand. One victim was hospitalized in serious but stable condition. The suspect fled initially but was later arrested. He is set to appear in Whangārei District Court.
