Owen Sound police have charged a local man with aggravated assault and other offences after a knife attack in downtown on June 22. The victim, who knew the accused, was found with multiple lacerations and treated at Owen Sound hospital before being released. Michael Vanwyck, 36, was arrested on June 25 and remains in custody. The incident is believed to be related to a previous dispute.
