Two men died in separate drowning incidents in Queensland, Australia, on December 29. An 18-year-old fell down a river embankment while using a rope swing in Maudsland, 55 km south of Brisbane, and a 55-year-old slipped and fell from a waterfall in Behana Gorge, over 1,300 km northwest of Brisbane. Both deaths are being treated as non-suspicious. In related incidents, two people drowned at a beach in Western Australia due to a dangerous current.
