Irish hospitals report over 230 patients waiting for beds, with University Hospital Limerick having the most.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reported that 234 patients were waiting for hospital beds across Ireland on Friday morning. Of these, 170 were in emergency departments and 64 were in hospital wards. University Hospital Limerick had the highest number of waiting patients with 63 in total. Other hospitals with notable wait numbers include St. Luke's General Hospital (18 patients), Sligo University Hospital (17 patients), and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital (14 patients).
