470 patients in Irish hospitals waited for beds on Monday, with Limerick and Galway hospitals experiencing the highest overcrowding.

470 patients were waiting for beds in Irish hospitals on Monday, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation. University Hospital Limerick had the most overcrowding, with 85 patients waiting for a bed, followed by Galway University Hospital with 42 patients waiting on trolleys. The Health Service Executive reported 316 people waiting on trolleys across HSE-run hospitals.
