Chinese outbound tourism is surging during the Spring Festival as international airfares have dropped by an average of 12% compared to last year, with some destinations seeing a 20% decrease. According to Qunar, a Beijing-based travel agency, bookings for outbound flights and international hotels have more than doubled. This trend is partly due to fewer tourists in foreign countries during this period, making travel more affordable than domestic tourism.
