Passenger's hand trapped in Elizabeth line train door; forced to run alongside train before rescue.

A passenger at Ealing Broadway station had their hand trapped in a closing Elizabeth line train door on November 24, forcing them to run alongside the train for about 17 meters. The train stopped after being alerted by nearby passengers, and the passenger was freed by a staff member, sustaining minor injuries. The Rail Accident Investigation Branch is investigating the incident to examine the actions of those involved and the risk management for boarding and alighting the Elizabeth line trains. Similar incidents have occurred at other stations.
