Pedestrian struck and killed in hit-and-run near Myrtle Beach; SC Highway Patrol investigates.
A hit-and-run incident occurred early Saturday morning near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, resulting in a fatality. Around 3:45 a.m., a southbound vehicle struck a pedestrian on a moped near Claypond Road and Arrowhead Boulevard, then fled the scene. The victim died at the location, and their identity has not been released. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
