Pedestrian hit by SUV on US 17 in South Carolina, dies of injuries; investigation ongoing.

A pedestrian was hit by a Buick SUV on US 17 near Wesley Drive in South Carolina, resulting in serious injuries. The victim later died in hospital. The Georgetown County Coroner has not yet released the name, and it's unclear if charges will be filed. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
