Peter Yealands, founder of a pioneering eco-friendly winery in New Zealand, has died at 76.
Peter Yealands, founder of the environmentally friendly Yealands Wine Group in New Zealand, passed away at 76. Known for innovative practices like using sheep and chickens for pest control and becoming the world's first carboNZeroCertTM winery, Yealands retired in 2018 after the company was taken over by Marlborough Lines. He is survived by his wife Violet and two children.
