Reefton Distilling Co., New Zealand's first whisky distillery, has achieved Bcorp certification, making it the first West Coast business to do so. Founder Patsy Bass established the company in 2017 with the goal of creating sustainable employment and well-paying careers in her hometown of Reefton. This certification serves as "tangible acknowledgement" of the company's early vision for social good.
