Mother found guilty of causing partner's death in a high-speed crash post-wedding.

Alicia Fairclough, a mother of two, was found guilty of causing her partner Thomas Benson's death through dangerous driving after a wedding. The crash occurred when Fairclough, driving at more than twice the speed limit, hit a tree in Bolton. Their eight-year-old daughter was in the car. Fairclough suffered a brain injury leading to memory loss. She was also found guilty of uninsured driving. Sentencing is pending after a pre-sentence report is prepared, with a jail term likely.
