A man with schizophrenia who urinated on supermarket meat receives community order, not jail.
Lachlan Ebejer, a 22-year-old with schizophrenia, avoided jail time for urinating on packaged meat at a Woolworths supermarket in Sydney. Previously banned from the store due to shoplifting, Ebejer received a 12-month community corrections order instead of prison. Judge Michael Allen took into account Ebejer's mental health condition and history of bizarre behavior.
