Man with past cheese theft, 71 convictions, steals £95 worth of butter from banned Tesco, gets 2-month sentence.
Kieton Pearson, a man with a previous suspended sentence for stealing cheese, was sentenced to two months in prison after stealing 22 tubs of Lurpak butter worth £95 from a Tesco store in Houghton-le-Spring, where he was already banned. Pearson has 71 previous convictions and expressed a desire to change. During sentencing, Recorder Anthony Dunne noted Pearson's difficult upbringing.
