Air India Express plans to increase monthly passengers by 50% by expanding its fleet and routes.
Air India Express, part of the Tata Group, aims to boost passenger traffic by 50% year-on-year, targeting 2.4 million monthly passengers by FY25. To support this growth, the airline plans to expand its fleet from 90 to over 110 aircraft and increase its destinations from 45 to 55. The focus will be on connecting tier-2 and tier-3 cities domestically and launching international routes, including Bangkok and potentially Malaysia and Hong Kong.
