Air India Express, owned by the Tata Group, will launch non-stop flights to Jammu and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) on December 1. Jammu will connect to Delhi and Srinagar, while Sri Vijaya Puram will link to Bengaluru and Kolkata. This expansion reflects the airline's strategy to enhance its domestic presence, operating over 400 daily flights with a fleet of 90 aircraft, serving 35 domestic and 14 international airports.
