Samuel Lawrence Wright, a 69-year-old man from Bedford, Virginia, died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 626 in Pittsylvania County. The accident occurred around 12:13 p.m. when Wright's 2022 Mack truck veered off the road, overcorrected, crossed the centerline, and overturned. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time. Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.
