7 arrested for post-tornado theft at Garner Industries, Lancaster County; company relocates, increases security.
Seven individuals were arrested for trespassing and theft at Garner Industries in Lancaster County, which was damaged by a tornado in April. The suspects stole wire, copper, and steel, with one found in possession of over $1,000 worth of scrap metal. Garner Industries plans to press charges and has relocated its offices while continuing to secure its property against further thefts. The Sheriff's Office will enhance patrols in the area.
