Hoffman Estates police are seeking public help to locate a caracal, a wild cat native to Africa and Asia, spotted near Della Drive and Hilldale Golf Course. The origins of the animal are unknown, and it is rare in the U.S. Residents are warned not to approach it and should call 911 with any information.
