Johnathan Taylor, 30, from Texas City, has been charged with murder after confessing to fatally stabbing his 68-year-old mother, Regina McIntyre, on October 6. Initially claiming he was a robbery victim at a Wendy's, he later admitted the attack occurred at their home. McIntyre was found unresponsive and later died in the hospital. Taylor, who also had stab wounds, was treated and is currently held in Galveston County Jail with a $500,000 bond.
