Indonesia's annual inflation rate fell to 1.84% in September, the lowest since November 2021.

Indonesia's annual inflation rate for September dropped to 1.84%, below the anticipated 2.00% and down from August's 2.12%. This is the lowest rate since November 2021 and remains within the Bank Indonesia's target of 1.5% to 3.5%. Core inflation was slightly higher at 2.09%. In September 2024, the country also saw a monthly deflation of 0.12%, driven primarily by reductions in food and fuel prices.
