OMV Petrom acquires 710 MW photovoltaic projects from Jantzen Renewables to meet renewable energy goals.

OMV Petrom, Southeastern Europe's largest integrated energy producer, has acquired photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 710 MW from Jantzen Renewables in Romania. These projects, ready for development, are expected to start supplying power to the national grid by late 2026. The acquisition supports OMV Petrom's goal of achieving 2.5 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 and could provide 70% of Bucharest's household energy needs annually.
