This increase highlights financial strain on businesses, particularly in wholesale, retail, construction, and manufacturing. Payment incidents surged by 29%, and companies with turnovers over €5 million saw a 73% rise in insolvencies. New company registrations fell to 68,223, and deregistrations increased by 34%.
