72-year-old woman from Mercer dies in intersection crash on Sep 22.
A 72-year-old woman from Mercer, North Dakota, died following a two-vehicle crash on September 22 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 83 and North Dakota Highway 41. Her Chevrolet Malibu failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado's driver, a 32-year-old man, and a passenger suffered minor injuries and he was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
