35-year-old woman dies, child injured in single-vehicle crash; Kings District RCMP investigating.
A 35-year-old woman from Kings County, P.E.I., died in a single-vehicle crash on 48 Road in Head of Cardigan on September 20, 2024. A child sustained life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. Emergency services arrived around 5:30 p.m. The road was closed for several hours for investigation but has since reopened. The Kings District RCMP is conducting a collision investigation and has extended condolences to the victims' families.
