32-year-old man dies in collision with HGV on A75 near Springholm, investigation ongoing.
A 32-year-old man died in a collision involving his silver Ford Mondeo and a white Scania HGV on the A75 near Springholm, Dumfries and Galloway, around 1:15 AM. The Mondeo driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 57-year-old HGV driver was taken to Galloway Royal Infirmary as a precaution. The road is closed for investigation, expected to last until Friday evening. Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage.
