A student at Walt Disney Elementary in Mishawaka, Indiana, brought a realistic-looking BB gun onto a school bus, alarming parents and officials. The St. Joseph County Police confiscated the toy after other students reported it. Sheriff Bill Redman advised parents to ensure such items are kept at home and to discuss school safety with their children. School officials reiterated that toy weapons violate the student code of conduct.
