4 Met Police officers investigated for misconduct in murders linked to uncharged repeat offender, Carl Cooper.

Four Metropolitan Police officers are under investigation for misconduct following the murders of Naomi Hunte and Fiona Holm by Carl Cooper, a man both women had reported for violence. Despite complaints, Cooper was not charged after an April 2023 assault on Holm. A review indicated that better investigation could have identified witnesses and led to prosecution. Cooper was sentenced to life in prison in July, with ongoing searches for Holm's body.
