The Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom in Uganda has inaugurated a new cabinet, led by Prime Minister Dr. Kasirivu Baltazar Atwooki, following the expiration of the previous cabinet's term. The ceremony was conducted by Chief Prince Fred Mugenyi Rucunya. However, former Prime Minister Andrew Byakutaga has refused to relinquish his position, claiming only the Omukama, Dr. Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, can dismiss him. The new cabinet aims to restore governance.
