Osage Beach Police Officer Phylicia Carson, 33, was killed during a high-speed pursuit in Camden County, Missouri, on Saturday. The chase began after she attempted to stop a speeding vehicle. Carson's patrol car skidded off the road, struck a tree, and caught fire. The suspect was apprehended shortly after their vehicle crashed. Carson, who joined the department in June 2023, is survived by her husband and six children. An investigation is underway.
