Dublin Airport enforces new liquids, aerosols, and gels rules due to EU temporary restrictions and 'C3 scanner' concerns.

Dublin Airport implements new hand luggage rules for liquids, effective from 1 September. Passengers must place all liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) under 100ml in a clear plastic bag and place it visibly in their security tray. This change is in response to a temporary restriction introduced by the European Commission due to concerns over potential flaws in 'C3 scanner' technology. The European Commission has not yet provided a date for when these restrictions will be lifted.
