EU airports reintroduce stricter liquid rules for carry-on luggage from September 1st, limiting containers to 100ml and packing in a 1L transparent bag. Previously, some airports eased rules with CT scanners, but EU officials questioned their reliability. Medication and baby food are exempt, and at airports with new CT scanners, liquids can stay in luggage but must be shown separately with electronics at conventional scanners.
