20-year-old Agra engineering student publicly stripped herself after 17 days of police inaction to demand arrest of a 22-year-old IIT student accused of raping her. The woman initially filed an FIR on Aug 11, alleging she was raped on Aug 10, but police claimed the accused was in Jammu and did not pursue his arrest. Following her protest, she was taken to a mental hospital for three days. The accused was eventually arrested after her public protest.
