Marvel Rivals, a 5v5 tactical hero shooter game featuring 25 Marvel characters, will launch on Dec 6 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but won't be available on Nintendo Switch or mobile devices. The game's director, Thaddeus Sasser, cited limited history with team shooters on Switch and potential internet connection issues as reasons for the omission. No discussions are currently taking place for Switch or mobile versions, but a Switch successor, referred to as "Switch 2", may be considered if it proves more powerful.
