Marvel Rivals, a new 6-vs-6 multiplayer game developed by NetEase, has been announced featuring iconic characters from the Marvel Universe. Similar to Overwatch, Marvel Rivals offers a roster of superheroes and villains for players to choose from in a team-based, free-to-play game. Set to receive a closed alpha test in May, the game will feature unique superpowers that can alter environments and a storyline involving Doctor Doom and his future counterpart causing universes to collide, leading to crises only Marvel’s superheroes can fix. Future updates are expected to introduce new characters, maps, and content to the game.
