Newcastle councillor Elizabeth Adamczyk denies allegations of bullying her political rivals during the Labor party's local government preselection process. Adamczyk's Wallsend branch submitted charges against seven people supporting Wallsend MP Sonia Hornery, with some alleging they were falsely accused. Labor's external complaints manager recommended a full investigation, but it was not proceeded with. Adamczyk defended her actions, stating that raising concerns through confidential internal party processes is not considered bullying.
