Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner faces renewed police scrutiny over allegations that she broke electoral law when living between two council houses in Stockport in the early 2010s. Greater Manchester Police had previously decided not to investigate the claims, but a detective chief inspector is now reviewing the case after Tory MPs lobbied for a reconsideration. Rayner has denied any wrongdoing and insisted that she has done "nothing wrong".
