2024 saw many Welsh schools celebrating outstanding GCSE results, with Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph reporting outstanding results for its Year 11 students, who are proficient in at least two languages. In Powys, schools celebrated GCSE results day with many students achieving high grades. In Flintshire, 6 in 10 students achieved the gold standard A*-C grades, with a 19.2% of pupils receiving A* or A grades. Schools across Wrexham reported strong performances, with Ysgol Bryn Alyn achieving its best-ever results. Overall, students across Wales are celebrating their hard-earned achievements and looking forward to the next stage of their education or career.
