Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) issues a health warning for passengers on a Dublin Airport-Clonmel bus after a confirmed measles case.
Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) has issued a health warning for passengers on a bus from Dublin Airport to Clonmel, Co Tipperary, after a confirmed case of measles. The JJ Kavanagh bus number 717 departed at 4 pm on August 17th. The HSE advises pregnant women, immunocompromised individuals, and those under the age of 12 months to contact their GP or hospital clinician for advice, as immediate treatment may be beneficial. Passengers who were on the bus are asked to look out for measles symptoms over the next three weeks and to seek healthcare advice if they appear. The HSE recommends two MMR vaccinations as the best way to protect oneself and others against measles.
