3 Lubbock residents killed in crash: A tire blowout on a Kenworth truck with trailer on State Highway 349 led to the truck pulling over on the sloping shoulder. A southbound vehicle, driven by Daniel James Lindsey, crashed into the trailer, killing Lindsey, Chelsea Sue Clark, and Marcos Campos, all from Lubbock. The truck driver, Kevin Sanchez, was uninjured. No seatbelts were used, and the crash is under investigation.
