Warner Bros. shelved John Cena's film "Coyote vs. Acme" due to business reasons, causing disappointment but understanding among the cast and crew.

John Cena, who starred in the cancelled Warner Bros. film "Coyote vs. Acme", has expressed his disappointment but understands the business reasons behind the decision. The movie, which combined live-action and animation, was shelved alongside Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt. Cena, who also stars in Peacemaker season 2 for Warner Bros. Discovery, says he would have tremendous regret and shame if the film was shelved for reasons other than business ones. He acknowledges that there are different perspectives on the situation but, personally, loves the film and was invested in it "heart and soul". The film cannot be released without Warner Bros. paying back the tax credit they received, leading to frustration among the cast and crew.
