WWE star John Cena will lead in the live-action film "Matchbox," produced by Apple Original Films and Mattel Films. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the movie is inspired by Mattel's toy car line and features a script by David Coggeshall and Jonathan Tropper. While in development, no official release date has been set. The project may coincide with Cena's upcoming WWE retirement tour starting in January.
