31-year-old Keith Bychinski from Earlham drowned in a Waukee pond while attempting to retrieve a fishing pole for two young boys who had lost theirs. The incident occurred on August 8th and the Waukee Police and Fire Department were notified at 3:30 p.m. Bychinski's body was recovered later that day. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover his funeral costs.
